A dining experience sure to fuel unrequited wanderlust. Take a world tour of wine with Michael Kerrigan, with drops such as Nebbiolo, Tempranillo and Reisling. Your seven different world-class wines will be expertly matched to canapes and a six-course meal by the award winning Rustico at Hay Shed Hill. Guests will definitely not be leaving hungry, starting their journey with canapes of south coast oysters and rainbow trout, followed by six delicious courses (one of which may include their famous rock lobster choux puffs). To top off the evening, your meal will be accompanied by Western Australia’s own jazz supremo Jessie Gordon, who will make you feel a million miles away.
An experience of a lifetime. A celebration of Margaret River’s Queen varietal, this unmissable culinary quest hosted by chief winemaker Virginia Wilcock explores the world of Chardonnay including the unrivalled 2010 Heyetsbury Chardonnay – one of the most awarded wines in both Vasse Felix and Australian history. Matched to a six-course degustation by the award-winning Vasse Felix Restaurant where head chef Brendan Pratt conjures the most extraordinary flavours from his produce to create dishes all his own.
“The 2010 Heytesbury Chardonnay really marked the evolution of our style of Chardonnay in Margaret River. We dared to funk it up and loved it. The journey since then has been exceptional and beautiful from that release forward. I’m excited to share this evolution of our story behind the Queen of White grapes.” – Virginia Willcock
